Bird Protection Mesh

Protect your solar panels from nesting birds and potential cable damage with our flexible Bird Protection Mesh. Designed to prevent birds from accessing the underside of solar panels, this mesh provides a reliable barrier while maintaining airflow around your solar array.

Our 30-metre roll of 100mm flexi mesh is constructed for durability and easy installation. It is compatible with our Plastic Solar Bird Mesh Clips (SKU_XBTPI-BMPN_B50X1) featuring a locking plate that securely fastens the mesh without slipping through.

The mesh can be easily cut to size using heavy gauge side cutters. For optimal installation, cut the mesh into six-foot sections and straighten each piece before getting onto the roof. A simple technique is to use a length of 2” x 4” timber to bend the bottom inch of the mesh at a 30-degree angle, creating a “kick-out” that helps to lock the mesh firmly in place against the solar panel frame.

Available in three width options – 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm – as well as a 200mm heavy-duty version, our Bird Protection Mesh provides comprehensive coverage for solar panel installations of any size.
